At NWCG our mission is to provide compassionate financial support to children, teens and their families undergoing cancer treatment and blood and marrow transplantation at Doernbecher Children’s Hospital in Portland, Oregon.

Our Programs

The programs & services offered by NWCG have been developed based on the experiences of the Metz/Wilson family, and input from our recipient families, NWCG seeks to improve the quality of life of families by providing significant financial support for the costs encountered during their child’s treatment – reducing financial stress and allowing families to focus their energies where it is needed most…healing.

Our Story

NWCG was founded in 2005 by Nick Wilson’s family after their son passed away in 2001 at the tender age of three. NWCG strives to help families traveling the unknown & tumultuous path through childhood cancer treatment and bone marrow transplantation.

Our Families

“NWCG is an organization that does tangible good, helping families at their most profoundly unsettled time. This is why we find it inherently worthwhile to support Jill and NWCG.”
