Raise money for NWCG with a personal fundraiser! The needs of the families that you help support through the Nick Wilson Charitable Group are even greater these days. If you’d like to help raise awareness of NWCG while raising money for our much-needed programs but aren’t sure where to start, we’ve launched a new online program that makes it as easy as 1..2..3. Simply follow the steps below, and you’ll be having fun and raising money for NWCG before you know it!
1. Dream It!
First, come up with an idea for your fundraiser. If you can dream it, you can do it.
Some ideas include:
The possibilities are endless!
2. Create It!
Now that you have your idea, simply go to apps.nickwilsoncg.org/create-a-fundraiser. We’ve created a template for your fundraiser that will allow you to sign-up and quickly create a personalized fundraiser that you can share with family and friends.
On the website, you’ll add information about your fundraiser and goal, upload images, state the duration, and add any other details you’d like to share. There’s even a tab that will tell people all about the Nick Wilson Charitable Group and our mission. Once you create the fundraiser, you’ll be able to start sharing it and raising money right away.
The best part is we take care of collecting all of the donations for you. Your supporters can make their tax-deductible donations online directly to NWCG, so you don’t need to worry about collecting the proceeds from your fundraiser.
3. Share It!
Once your fundraiser is live, it’s time to start sharing it! Share your personalized fundraising link with your family, friends and colleagues via social media, email or even snail mail. Let people know early and often about your fundraiser. Every time someone donates, both you and NWCG will be notified.
It really is that easy! Every dollar raised for NWCG goes toward our mission of helping children and their families during their time of need. If you have any questions about peer-to-peer fundraising or starting your own fundraiser, Melissa is here to help!
